During his career, Mr. Ramos has represented thousands of people charged with DWI, Drug Offenses, Felonies of all degrees and Capital murder. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated from UNC-Pembroke in 1979. He graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 1982 and admitted to practice in North Carolina that same year. He was admitted to practice in Federal court in 1983. Mr. Ramos has maintained an office in Brunswick County since 1982 and has appeared in State and Federal courts throughout Eastern North Carolina. He served honorably in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division from 1972-1975.   

Mr. Ramos was certified as a Specialist in State and Federal Criminal Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in 1997 and is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also served as a N.C. State Bar Councilor starting January 1, 2017 and completed this service in 2025.  

Attorney McNally attended UNCW for undergrad in forensic anthropology with honors in 2009. She then graduated with honors from NCCU Law in 2019. She has also worked as a CSI detective before graduating from NCCU.
